All Star Mr & Mrs

Good afternoon all.  Today we’re in a playful mood and having a bit of a sing-a-long at Penny’s Wedding HQ.  “Mr and Mrs…love one another…Mr and Mrs…”  Why?  Well at the weekend I went along to the filming of the legendary ITV show, All Star Mr and Mrs, hosted by the silver fox himself, Mr Phillip Schofield.

I’m a big fan of any type of game show but this is one of my all-time favourite shows, mainly because we get to have a nosey into other people’s relationships but in a fun fashion whilst raising money for charity.

For those of you who don’t know what All Star Mr and Mrs is about, where have you been?  It’s a game show featuring top-draw celebrity couples who are grilled about their relationship and how much they know about each other.  Three couples are featured on each show and complete two rounds of serious questioning with the highest scoring celebrity going onto the final round to win money for their chosen charity.

I was super impressed with the celebrity couples featured during the show I attended.  We had Julie Hesmondhalgh (Coronation Street), Dave Myers (Hairy Bikers) and Tom Fletcher (McFly *childish girly scream*.)  As expected there were lots of laughs and giggles and even a sing-a-long for the audience.

My favourite part of the show is the VT introducing the guests as I love listening to people in love and talking about each other, it really is cute to see.  Tom Fletcher is just too adorable for words and when you see the show you’ll see why.  He spoke about his wedding speech, which of course is infamous now.  This is a must see video because there are no words to describe how sweet it is.

I think if you have a good voice and have the confidence, why not sing your wedding speech?  What do you think?  Is it too cheesy?  There’s no such thing as too cheesy when it comes to love.

Thanks for a great day; if ever you get the opportunity to attend the filming of a show, I highly recommend it as it’s great fun.
