Kookie Candles – Review

Vintage Teacup Candles

I love receiving gifts through the post and today I was not disappointed.  I was delighted when a neat brown box landed on my doorstep; inside was a gorgeous vintage teacup candle courtesy of Kookie Candles.  The teacups are made of the finest bone china and are somewhat reminiscent of the style my grandma used to have.  The homemade delights are filled with your chosen scented soya wax and once used (after 30 hours of burn time) they can be washed in soapy water and recycled as a teacup – ingenious!

I was sent a lovely floral print teacup with a white wax insert and a fragrance that can only be described as citrus mixed with fresh linen; whether this was the intended scent I do not know, but it is divine none the less.  These candles are so beautiful and would compliment any wedding (or home) decor.  Whether you use them as table decorations or favours, they will make a lovely unique addition to your wedding.

The ordering process is very simple and contact via email is quick and obtaining a response is almost instantaneous; which is ideal when planning a wedding.  It’s these little things that make the handmade businesses stand out from the larger ones.  You need to build a rapport and trust base with customers and this is exactly what Kookie Candles achieve.  They ensure smooth communication and deliver exactly what is promised.  Each teacup is lovingly made to your specification before being wrapped protectively in its delivery box.  Care is taken to ensure your teacups do not crack whilst in transition and ‘fragile’ is clearly written over the entire package.

Kookie Candles specialise in creating homemade bespoke vintage teacup candles for any occasion.  There are a variety of packages available for weddings including table decorations, favours and special gifts.  Prices do vary, however, a typical style candle will cost you approximately £12.00.  For discounts and special offers visit Kookie Candles on Twitter or view their website www.kookiecandles.co.uk.
