Tell us about Warble Entertainment Events

Warble Entertainment Agency is a well-established entertainment agency that provides fantastic entertainment options for any wedding.  With over one thousand full-time acts on the roster we have everything from wedding bands to caricaturists, fire performers to singing waiters and magicians to tribute acts!  We deal with over 2000 events every year with about 70% of these being weddings.  Warble is a full-time legitimate business with premises and staff and has been established for nearly 5 years.

What entertainment is available?

Warble Entertainment Agency can provide every kind of entertainment imaginable!  We can cater for every aspect of a couple’s special day.  For example, we have harpists, string quartets, pianists, singers and choirs for a ceremony.  Or, for something a little quirky and different we have contemporary acoustic performers.

For drinks receptions and the photographs we have caricaturists, magicians, jazz bands, rat pack singers and musicians of every variety to keep guests entertained.  Many of these kinds of entertainment may also be carried through to the wedding breakfast and create a lovely ambience.

Finally, for the evening entertainment we exclusively offer some of the UKs best live cover bands, tribute bands and wedding bands that cater specifically for weddings by having tailor made set-lists to please all age groups.  We can also offer comedians, DJs and for a big finale to the evening a fantastic fire performer with pyrotechnic ending!  These are just ideas though and by looking over the website you can really see just how much we offer to make your day unique to you and bespoke to your own tastes and requirements.

How many acts do you look after?

Warble currently has in excess of 1100 full time acts on the roster. We have a strict vetting process for any act that wants to be represented by us and only about 1% of all applicants are actually successful at becoming registered with us.  This ensures that we maintain quality control.  Incidentally, we do not charge our acts to register with us and they are there purely included on merit.

We also work closely with new talent throughout the UK to help nurture and develop them for the future so that they are able to make a living from their talents and continue to enable Warble to offer our customers the very best in UK entertainment.

What regions of the UK to your acts cover?

Warble has carefully developed a roster that covers the whole of the UK so whatever you are looking for and whatever your area we can help.  So, even though the head office is based in Cheshire we can still provide entertainment absolutely anywhere… and, we mean anywhere!

Are you able to cater for international weddings?

Yes, no problem at all.  Whilst the majority of our entertainment is booked throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales we have also booked wedding entertainment in Turkey, France, Croatia, Poland, Spain, Dubai and many more places worldwide.

Can you offer advice to a couple who are unsure about hiring wedding entertainment?

We believe that wedding entertainment is possibly one of the most important parts of the day.  It can quite literally make a wedding truly outstanding and one that not only the happy couple will remember but also one that all their guests will be talking about for a very long time.  We have heard stories where a bride and groom have spent more on the place settings than on the evening entertainment!  Whilst all elements to the day are important, people won’t go away and talk about how great the place settings were… they will probably be forgotten in the blink of an eye.  But, get the entertainment right and you will really leave a lasting impression.  Plus, you’ll also have just thrown an amazing party for everybody to celebrate your special day!

We don’t think you have to spend thousands to get the entertainment right and here at Warble we are happy to work with all budgets, but, we do think that setting a realistic budget to get the best entertainment possible is a must for any couple wanting to make their day truly memorable and special.  Also, try not to forget about times like the drinks reception and photographs.  Whilst you are being whirled off for the shots guests are often left unattended and at a bit of a loose end.  This is a great point for entertainment and will provide your guests with a fantastic ice-breaker.

Is it possible to hear samples of work or meet the artist before booking?

Of course!  The Warble website features sound clips of the musicians and wedding bands we offer and in many cases they also feature videos that you can catch of the artists in action.  Whilst meeting is sometimes not realistic due to how busy many of the acts are (for example, a lot of musicians will be tutoring in the day and then performing in the evening) on occasion this can be arranged.  Some acts offer showcases where you will be able to watch them perform and then have a chat with them afterwards.  All of this is dependent on the act and their own schedule, but, at the very least you will be able to see a full profile on the Warble site.

Are references available for each of the acts?

Yes, we make sure that all of our acts are tried and tested and throughout their time on the Warble roster we continually ensure quality control by asking for feedback after every single event they perform at.  This means that we can ensure that the act is not lowering standards or failing to deliver anything short of excellence.  Any act that starts to show signs of this will be removed from the Warble roster and lose a valuable source of income.

Explain the booking procedure?

We have made the booking procedure extremely straightforward because we realise that booking entertainment is not something that people tend to do every day.  Whilst our website offers a detailed breakdown and includes specimen contracts and makes everything extremely transparent (i.e. no hidden surprises!), here’s a quick rundown of how a standard booking would work.

After looking through the website and finding an act that you like the look of, confirming their availability for your date and making sure they are within your price range you simply let us know that you would like to secure the act and confirm the booking.  We will then email across a booking contract for you that outlines the details (i.e. date, timings, location, etc.) along with an invoice for the booking deposit.  This is normally about 15% of the total fee.  The act you have then booked will contact you approximately 3 weeks before the big day to introduce themselves and fine tune any last minute details.  You can either pay the outstanding balance to the act on the day itself or arrange to pay it via cheque 2 weeks before. But, that’s it!

Do we liaise directly with the artist regarding specific requests for the wedding day?

Yes, we believe that this is essential!  We have found that 3 weeks before your wedding date is the ideal time for this as you will have all the final details arranged with the venue by this point.  The act will call you and discuss all the things that need finalising (i.e. songlists, arrival times, etc.).  If you need to speak to the act prior to the 3 week point this can also be arranged, or, your Warble co-ordinator will be only too happy to answer any questions you may have in the lead up.

What would happen if the chosen act were ill or suddenly unable to attend the wedding?

This is where we really come into play.  Should the act contract a deadly virus and not be able to perform we will work with you to offer suitable alternatives and ensure that your celebrations are not affected.  We have 2 emergency phones that are manned 24/7 so we are available to offer help at any time.  And, because we have a huge network of performers all over the UK we should pretty much always be able to solve any eventuality.
