Bridal Jewellery and Accessory Styles

We’re super excited to share with you this guest blog post written by Lianne from Adore Weddings. Take it away…

Choosing your wedding jewellery may only seem like a small detail in the world of decision making when planning your wedding but if you are choosing to wear jewellery and accessorise your look with statement pieces or something simple then finding pieces that will go perfectly with your style can be hard, here we have put together some gorgeous accessory and jewellery ideas to help you find some inspiration.

♥ Vintage Style ♥

All things vintage is still taking the lead this year for wedding style and theme, so why not team your gorgeous vintage dress with classical pieces and accessorize your hair with gorgeous and timeless headbands, you could always ask friends and family of the older generation to dig out their old jewellery box or visit charity shops for hidden treasures.

♥ Bo Ho Chic ♥

If bo-ho chic is your thing then you can have lots of fun picking your jewellery and accessories, to create an eccentric style then matching your accessories isn’t necessarily a must, mix it up a little, even on your wedding day!

♥ The Nautical/Beach Look ♥

If you are lucky enough to be tying the knot in sunnier climates on a sandy beach then less is usually more, why not glam up your feet with delicate jewellery. Use the colours of the sea to pick the colour of the stones in your earrings; you could even keep them for your honeymoon wardrobe.

♥ Pearls, Pearls, Pearls ♥

Think Audrey Hepburn! Pearls make a bride look timeless and classy whether it is a simple bracelet or a statement necklace you will never go wrong with pearls. It is important to not overdo it so If you are wearing a chunky pearl necklace then keep the wrists bare and wear smaller pearl earrings.

♥ Asian Style ♥

Asian brides always wear the most glorious jewellery pieces, the more they wear the more they shine. From head to toe Asian brides dress their bodies with hair chotlis, Tikkas (Head Jewellery), Bajuband’s (armlet), bangles and anklets in all colours and designs and much more.

♥ Delicacy ♥

If you’re a delicate soul and your wedding dress doesn’t need any extra attention then choose jewellery that is light and dainty. Alternatively you could add a little something pretty to your hair instead of your body for a unique look.
